Fondue and Resolutions

I'm not one to usually set New Year's resolutions, but this year I'm going to try.   I'm not going to kid myself and make goals about cutting out Dr. Pepper and making time to work out, those will never be accomplished.  I think 3 simple goals will be the best way to handle it.

1. Make better use of my time.
Sleep in less, study more, watch TV less, clean the house, the list could go on and on....

2.  Drink more water.
For every glass/can of Dr. Pepper, I must drink a glass of water.  That's a much better compromise.

3.   Do something creative.
Not sure what this will be yet.  But let's just say the most creative I've been getting lately is with my spreadsheet color combinations, I need an outlet.

What are your goals for 2012?

I like your simpler goals. I haven't made any "resolutions" yet. I'm not quite sure how I want to go about it, but I like your idea.

Cutting out the soda IS hard.. For me it's Diet Coke.. Keep hearing it's bad but tastes sooo good.. Haha! And I like how you've compromised with the water thing... My goal this year is to exercise more, get my junk organized (closets, drawers, boxes, etc), and take more pictures with my dSLR...Need to master that thing!

Happy New YEARRRRR!

Doctor Pepper is my downfall too! I like your idea a lot! One glass of water for each pop. So simple, yet so logical!

Also I've found Crystal Light to be a great alternative to pop. A lot of times I find that pop is the thing I crave when I want something sweet, so I replace it with a pack of Crystal Light instead.

Best of luck to you!

My goals.
Go swimming regularly. The best exercise I know.
Read scriptures regularly too.

Good luck with the soda depletion. I think I need to make "drink more water" a goal as well. I'm terrible at keeping myself hydrated.

Dagan's family has a tradition where they do fondue every New Year's.. we tried running around LA on NYE in order to fulfill this.. alas. no such luck. Unless we wanted to wait 3 hours for a table at 11:30.

Ps. you. are. adorable.
